Ebbs Chapel Community Center
maintains facilities to host meetings; family,
business and organizational events; and
conferences for up to 175 persons. Our
spaces may be used by those living in the Upper
Laurel community, in Madison County, or those
beyond seeking a serene, peaceful and beautiful
mountain location for their event.
Appropriate rental fees depend on the size and
requirements of your group, the facilities chosen,
as well as the length and purposes of your event.
The heart of our Events and Conference Center is
our large Meeting/Dining Room with an attached
kitchen that will accommodate from 80 to 175
persons depending on the chair and table
arrangement. Smaller spaces are often
available as well. Sponsors of events may
also add use of the auditorium in the Ebbs Chapel
Performing Arts Center which holds 250 in fixed
seating.
In the fall of 2022, Upper Laurel residents Laura
Ponder and Eve Kindley prepared an application for
the T-Mobile Corporation Hometown Grants
Program. T-Mobile awarded the Center one of
two grants that went to projects in Madison
County. Supplemented by donations from many
residents of the Upper Laurel community, the funds
financed construction of the kitchen/dining
complex to service the Events and Conference
Center.
If you are planning a wedding, graduation,
retirement, reunion, or other family celebration,
a business or organizational meeting or
conference, or other event that requires a meeting
and/or dining space, we invite you to contact the
Center to discuss use of our facilities. All
proceeds from rentals go to upgrade and maintain
our facilities or to support our community service
activities. |
