The Upper Laurel Community Organization, Inc. is a registered North Carolina non-profit corporation whose sole purpose is serving the Upper Laurel community by operating the Ebbs Chapel Community Center.

The Center is located at 281 Laurel Valley Road, Mars Hill, North Carolina.

The Ebbs Chapel Community Center welcomes volunteers to assist with the Center’s work and welcomes donations through the office of the Treasurer.

Meetings of the Board of Directors are held the first Monday of each month with meetings cancelled in some winter months.

The Annual Meeting of the ULCO generally occurs on the first Monday in November each year. Election of officers by members of the ULCO present at this meeting occurs in the even numbered years. By bylaw, if you are a resident or a friend of the Upper Laurel Community, express interest, and wish to enhance the community, you are eligible for membership in ULCO.
